Her jaw-dropping looks have always made her stand out. But on Friday, Scarlett Johansson did just the opposite. The Avengers actress went unnoticed by New York commuters as she filmed scenes alongside costar Adam Driver for their new movie. The cameras were rolling for director Noah Baumbach’s untitled movie outside of a 7th Avenue Brooklyn train station.
The mother-of-one was seen blending in with the crowd on the street sidewalks and stepping out of the packed subway station. The actress donned a long blue coat over a black sweater and pants. She also sported a short red hairdo and had a gold pendant necklace around her neck.
The attire was completed with black combat boots and a tan shoulder bag draped across her chest. The starlet’s makeup was kept minimal as she worked among the NYC pedestrians. The 33-year-old beauty was joined by her costar, Adam Driver.
The Star Wars villain kept on trend with Johansson’s casual look, wearing a black wool coat over a light blue button-up shirt and beige pants. Just last month, the Girls actor was spotted filming a scene in Los Angeles for the film. The star was almost unrecognizable as he seemed to be channeling the Invisible Man in a smart suit and trilby with his face and fingers wrapped in medical bandages.
While it might look like a horror movie in the making, the film, directed by 48-year-old Noah Bambauch, is a comedy about a bi-coastal divorce set in NYC and LA. Johansson and Driver are joined by a strong female cast that includes Laura Dern and Greta Gerwig.
