If there’s one thing Jennifer Aniston is best known for other than her hair, it’s her effortlessly chic off-duty style. Now, she has revealed the secret that keeps her looking so picture perfect.
The 53-year-old said in a Yahoo Beauty interview with make-up mogul Bobbi Brown: ‘This is my secret: The trick to T-shirts is I that I usually tailor them. Which is silly, but it works.’
Indeed, a look back at her streetstyle history shows just how well the trick works, making even the most casual look appear instantly glamorous.
On July 29, 2013, she was pictured in New York on the set of Squirrels to the Nuts in a white and navy striped T-shirt, which she paired with denim cut-offs.
The star dressed up the nautical-inspired look with her favorite beige wedge sandals, which accentuated her tanned and toned legs.
Throughout the month, she was seen sporting various versions her favorite jeans-and-tee ensemble.
On July 23, she opted for a lavender V-neck with cuffed sleeves, which she wore with ripped jean shorts and a straw hat.
And on July 25 she donned a three-quarter-length grey Tee with a white neckline, which she accessorized with a long silver chain.
In the interview, Jennifer revealed that her favorite brands when it comes to fitted tees and tank tops are James Perse and Theory.
James Perse T-shirts range in price from $50 to $155, and tops from Theory cost between $75 and $160.
Her other fashion tips include shopping at Genetic and Helmut Lang for skinny jeans, Saint Laurent for jackets and removing the pockets on Hudson jeans to make them look more flattering.
And when describing the low-maintenance style she has become famous for, she modestly explains: ‘You know what that is? It’s just called laziness.’
The actress previously told Grazia in 2013: ‘I’m pretty basic. I pretty much have my uniform. A boyfriend jean, a wedge, a tank top. At night, I change the tank top to black and add some chains.’
