Her stunning good looks, hourglass figure and love of vintage style fashion has made her a Hollywood hot symbol. And Scarlett Johansson was bringing every ounce of her retro charm to New York City on Wednesday. The actress wore her hair in a 1940s vintage style wave, bright red lipstick and a belted camel coat over a vivid blue dress at the David Letterman studios.
For a the final touch, the Don Jon star sported a pair of large black Karen Walker cat-eye sunglasses and bedazzled peep-toe stilettos although left the studios without her sunglasses smiling and laughing. And despite the chilly Manhattan temperatures, Scarlett revealed a glimpse of toned bare legs as she strutted into the studio in her high-slit number.
The actress recently voiced a computer operating system named Samantha in Spike Jonze movie Her. The film explores how a depressed man Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) falls in love with the operating system in the film which co-stars Amy Adams and Olivia Wilde.
The in-demand star was also in Paris earlier this year filming director Luc Besson film Lucy with co-star Morgan Freeman. In the film plays a woman forced to carry drugs for a dealer who develops strange powers when some of the illegal substance leaks into her system. The film is due for released on August 8 in the US and August 22 in the UK.
And Scarlett will reprise her role as the Black Widow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier with Chris Evans, due out March 28 in the UK and April 4 in the US, and in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, set for a 2015 released. Aside from her acting career, the star has been tending to her French fiance Romain Dauriac. The couple started dating in November 2012 and got engaged in September, but they haven’t revealed when they intend to tie the knot.
