She’s been causing an uproar since revealing her giant engagement ring from her fiancé Romain Dauriac. But it seems as though Scarlett Johansson tried to attract attention elsewhere as she promoted her latest film Don Jon on Friday. Paying a visit to the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon at the Rockefeller Center in New York City, all eyes were on the 28-year-old’s covetable curves, as she arrived in a revealing, teal dress.
The cut-out frock bared some of her ample cleavage, as the shorter hemline gave way to her sunkissed stems, which were accentuated with a pair of nude, peep-toe pumps.
Radiating with joy, Scarlett couldn’t stop smiling as she strolled past the wooden stage and took a seat across from the TV personality. But blonde star still made a point to pose wih her hands on her lap, giving fans a glimpse of her new bling.
Scarlett lit up the red carpet at the New York première for her latest film Don Jon. The beauty wore an irrepressible grin as she posed for her photo op in a light summer frock, displaying her sun-kissed limbs in the humid late summer weather. And while the actress is currently in the throes of a satisfying romance her new independent film is an honest exploration of some of the darker aspects of modern dating.
Scarlett plays a woman who begins dating a man addicted to pornography, played by writer and director Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Despite the heavy subject matter, the Match Point star was clearly in a chipper mood as she pinned her blonde locks into a half ponytail. Wearing open toed stilettos the actress showed off her large engagement ring for the red carpet event.
Joining her for the celebratory evening was her director Gordon-Levitt, Tony Danza, and Julianne Moore. The screen beauty and French journalist Romain announced last week that they are set to marry. She told Entertainment Tonight Canada: ‘My friend was like, ‘Congrats on timing’ … things work out the way they do, maybe it’s better just to get it out the way.’
The Avengers star was first linked to Romain, 30, in November 2012 and the couple announced their engagement after a whirlwind 10-month relationship. Scarlett’s spokesperson said: ‘I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven’t chosen a date for the wedding.’ Speculation about the actress’ engagement began swirling last week after she was spotted wearing a large diamond ring at the Venice International Film Festival.
The couple also sparked wedding talk in July when Scarlett was seen sporting a glamorous gold ring with a diamond and ruby, however, friends of the star dismissed it as “simply a piece of jewellery”. The actress was previously married to Green Lantern hunk Ryan Reynolds for two years, but the couple separated in 2010 and finalised their divorce in July 2011.
Ryan has since married Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively. Meanwhile, Gordon-Levitt recently revealed that his casting of Scarlett was due to his being enamoured by her hot appeal. ‘Look, Scarlett is a gorgeous, gorgeous woman, but if you just compare purely physical features, plenty of girls are just as gorgeous,’ he told Men’s Health. ‘But she creates this extra something. It’s in her walk, her eye contact. The total package is just off the charts.’
The film follows a young man who is obsessed with his physical appearance, objectifies women and sports an addiction to pornography. After meeting romance-obsessed Barbara, he begins to pursue a genuine relationship with her – but that’s jeopardized when she discovers his dirty digital secret.
‘I thought the idea of a guy, who watches too much pornography, and a young woman, who watches too many romantic Hollywood movies, was a hilarious way to ask the question: How do the different kinds of media we consume impact our lives and our love lives?’ Gordon-Levitt told the Huffington Post in March. The film, which is Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut, opens in a wide release on September 19.
