Scarlett Johansson shows off her intricate back tattoos in strapless dress at Marriage Story TIFF premiere

Scarlett Johansson raised eyebrows last week when she said in an interview that she believed Woody Allen and would work with him anytime. Her siding with Allen in the wake of allegations he molested his adopted daughter Dylan when she was a child, however, didn’t seem to dampen enthusiasm for the actress at the Toronto International Film Festival.

She was besieged by fans on Sunday as she arrived for the premiere of her new film Marriage Story at the prestigious Canadian movie showcase.

She wore perspex toe heels with bright blue trim and ankle straps and added matching colored pendant earrings. Her blonde hair was styled in a bun and her dress, low cut at the back, revealed her intricate roses and lamb tattoos.

Johansson stars with Adam Driver in Marriage Story, which is written and directed by Noah Baumbach. The two play a husband and wife whose marriage is falling apart and are going through a coast-to-coast divorce.

The movie, which co-stars Laura Dern, Ray Liotta and Alan Alda, had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy. It will be released in select theatres to qualify for awards consideration and then be released on Netflix.

Driver, 35, pulled double duty on Sunday as another of his films The Report also had a screening at TIFF. In the drama based on a true story, the actor stars as a senate staffer tasked with investigating the CIA’s use of torture when interrogating terrorism suspects. Driver was joined at the screening by his co-stars Annette Bening and Jon Hamm.

The movie, which its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah in January will be released in theatres on November 15 and start streaming on Amazon Prime.
