Wednesday’s Mystery Uncle Fester Role Teased By Netflix Show Creators

Wednesday co-creator Alfred Gough discusses if Uncle Fester is in the upcoming Netflix series. Gough and Miles Millar have created the upcoming comedy horror series with Tim Burton directing. The show centers on the eponymous Addams Family daughter, played by Jenna Ortega.

The Addams Family in Wednesday comprises Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Morticia, Luis Guzmán’s Gomez, Isaac Ordonez’s Pugsley, George Burcea’s Lurch, and Victor Dorobantu’s Thing. Riki Lindhome, Gwendoline Christie, Hunter Doohan, and Emma Myers will star as the students and faculty at Nevermore, with Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday in Barry Sonnenfeld’s Addams Family movies appearing in an undisclosed role.

He treats Gomez and Morticia with respect and adores Wednesday and Pugsley despite all their mischief. Over the years, audiences have grown to see Fester as an integral member of the Addams household, so his absence from the Wednesday cast logically surprised and intrigued many as to why the show is fielding any mention of the beloved Addams uncle.
