Princess Charlotte helps her dad drive the plane.
Kate Middleton and Prince William took their 7-year-old daughter to the 2022 Commonwealth Games on Tuesday, but the fun started before they got there. Prince William took a helicopter, which he flew himself, to get to the event. Princess Charlotte went with him. Prince William, who is 40 years old, lands the Bell 429 “GlobalRanger” helicopter in Birmingham on video. When a car pulls up next to the plane, his daughter can be seen waving excitedly from the back seat. Most likely, Charlotte was greeting her mom Kate, who had taken the train to get there.
After being a Search and Rescue pilot for the Royal Air Force, Prince William worked as a pilot for an air ambulance. People think that he keeps flying to get more hours in the air so that he can keep his pilot licence.
He is already showing his children, like his oldest son Prince George, how much he loves to fly. In 2016, Prince George went to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF (Royal Air Force) Fairford. As he watched the planes and helicopters, he wore headphones that blocked out noise.
During his 2017 trip to Germany, Prince George, who is now 9, was also very excited to see the inside of a helicopter.
Kate said last year that her three children had gotten her love of all things to do with flying. Loadmaster Sergeant Mark Curtis told PEOPLE that she did say that her children are very interested in planes. Even though Prince William is a very good pilot, Queen Elizabeth is said to be worried about it. It’s especially scary when he takes a helicopter with his three kids, who are next in line for the throne after Prince William.
Prince George, 9, toured a helicopter in Germany in 2017.
Kate stated her three kids love aviation. Loadmaster Sergeant Mark Curtis told PEOPLE that her children are interested in planes. Queen Elizabeth apparently worries about Prince William’s piloting skills. When he flies by helicopter with his three children, who follow Prince William in succession, it’s very worrying.
Syed said that Kate, who is 40, and his son were still talking and laughing and “having a whale of a time.”
“I tell Ted, “Come on, Ted, we have to get off!” Oh, and thanks for spending time with him. When I am stopped in my tracks, I say, “Turning to the woman waiting her turn.” My brow creases and my face moves. “Kate?” I asked, “He remembered. “There are no security guards or armed guards in the foyer. But here is the Duchess of Cambridge having a nice conversation with my son.”
Princess Charlotte’s first solo trip with her parents was to the Commonwealth Games, where she showed off her royal handshake, watched a swim meet intently, and cheered loudly for gymnastics, which she said is her favourite sport.
Charlotte has been to two big sports events in the past few days: the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games. Queen Elizabeth’s great-granddaughter and William’s daughter sent a special message of good luck to the England Women’s soccer team on Sunday, the day before they played Germany in the final of the Women’s Euro 2022.
